Dive Mask Reviews
Our next mask to review is the ScubaPro Synergy 2(see lowest price). This is a dual lens mask, with several color options including the option as pictured with the black skirt and a mirrored lens. This dive mask features "Trufit Technology" which i sthe unique ribbing texture in the skirt for added support. The skirt is actually a combination of 2 skirts. The main skirt is a thin, soft silicone that provides a great seal and amazing fit for a wide range of faces. The outer skirt is where the Trufit technology shines with the ribben silicone for strength and support. The Synergy 2 is a dual lens mask with a good field of view, and is low volume. The masks can easily be folded flat for storage or packed in a suitcase. Quick release buckles make for easy removal or adjustments.
The SCUBAPRO Frameless Gorilla Mask are great masks, backed by SCUBAPRO(see lowest price) This is the diving industry's first, and arguably, best frameless mask
With a framless mask, divers have less space between their eyes and the lens, which improves field of view, makes it lighter, and a lower air volume. All of these add up to create a better experience for divers. This mask in particular has been engineered for a perfect fit, especially for large divers with wider faces. The Framless Gorilla is available in both a black matte version, or clear. With an extra-large single lens, there is a great field of view so you will never miss the action. Buckles attach directly to the silicone skirt, which gives it a very compact profile when storing or packing in luggage. A wide headband adds to the comfort against the back of a divers head.
The Cressi Panoramic 4 window dive mask(see lowest price) is the only 4 window mask on our list. It gives a panoramic view with the additional windows increasing peripheral vision.
The mask uses a comfortable silicone skirt that gives a comfortable fit for a wide variety of face shapes and sizes. This mask also uses quick-adjust strap buckles that are easy to use and adjust.
The Atomic Venom with ARC is our next scuba mask review. This mask(see lowest price) uses a higher quality glass than most other dive masks on the market. This glass is specifically desined to significantly improve vision while underwater, and allows up to 96% light transmission.
With ARC (Anti-Reflective coating), the Atomic Venom gives you better vision to see things that would otherwise be lost with normal masks. Other masks reduce light by up to 14%, which can cause you to miss some sea life that are trying to hide. This masks uses a patented SubFrame design, with no external frame. The dual layer, silicone skirt gives a comfortable and secure fit on your face. The Atomic Venom uses a single lens that gives a wide field of view and is low volume.
